How Our NDIS Orthotics Service Works

Initial Call or Referral: Let us know your needs or what’s been recommended. No referral is required, but often, those who attend JDP Orthotics already have been referred to us from their referrer.

Assessment Appointment: We evaluate your condition and recommend the right orthotic device.

Quote & Report: Your Support Coordinator will receive a clear, NDIS-compliant quote and supporting letter.

Approval Process: We assist your team with any required documentation or clarification.

Fitting & Review: Once approved, we create and fit your orthotics, footwear or bracing requirements with education and follow-up built in.

We specialise in a comprehensive range of orthotic solutions:​

AFOs: Custom-made to support and enhance mobility. Typically used for foot drop.​

Foot Orthotics: We customise foot inserts meant to realign your foot and alleviate the seething pain you’re feeling.

Footwear: JDP Orthotics believe that foot health is closely linked with proper foot support. We have a wide range of comfortable and supportive footwear to fit all foot shapes. Many have the ability to fit foot orthotics and/or AFO’s.

Knee Braces: A wide variety of knee braces are available at JDP Orthotics.

Spinal Braces: Built with the aid of our state-of-the-art technology, manage pain with the help of our posture-correcting spinal braces.

Compression Garments: Manage oedema, varicose veins, and even vein thrombosis with compression garments designed to improve blood flow and reduce swelling.

Fracture Management: We offer waterproof and removable fracture braces and CAM walker boots with inflatable liners. Need a hand removing plaster casts? We’re your person.

Arthritis Pain Management: After a consultation, our team of experts will provide you with a specialised orthotic solution for arthritis. JDP Orthotics’s solutions are designed to stabilise affected joints, thus reducing pain and enhancing mobility and quality of life.
